The Milwaukee Fire Department determines a suspicious letter sent to the Milwaukee Election Commission (MEC) Friday morning, did not contain hazardous material.According to city officials, an MEC staffer opened the mail around 9 a.m. before calling 911. Wayfair’s First In-Person Store Is Only an Hour Drive From Milwaukee

Online furniture and home goods store Wayfair opened its first-ever physical store on May 23 in Wilmette, Illinois, and it’s only about an hour drive from Milwaukee to get there.

The second Wednesday of every month, members of the American Sign Language Scene organization meet at Company Brewing, 735 E. Center St., to host Deaf Trivia Night.
